Wegreenit was responsible for the energy requalification of the Ortensie apartment building, located at Via Bernardino Luini, 7 in Cernusco sul Naviglio.

As a General Contractor, Wegreenit managed the architectural and plant design from feasibility to execution, permitting, the necessary financial transactions, project management, the supply of materials and plant technology, the implementation of the project, and the organization of the construction management and safety coordination.

The main interventions to improve the building’s energy performance were carried out, with a consequent increase in performance of at least two energy classes: insulation of vertical walls with thermal insulation, replacement of independent boilers with condensation generators, replacement of windows and doors, installation of solar shading, and installation of recharging systems for electric vehicles of the Wallbox type.

In accordance with the new European ‘Green Homes’ Directive, individual housing units went from an average energy class E to an average class A1, with energy savings in energy bills of around 40 per cent and an increase in the average flat value of around 30 per cent.
