Wegreenit, as General Contractor, handled all aspects, both design and execution, of the energy requalification of the condominium building located in Abbiategrasso, Via F.lli Cervi, 25.
In order to guarantee the increase in energy class as required by the regulations, the dispersing envelope was insulated with a thermal coat on the vertical walls and the roof was insulated with sandwich panels with insulating material. From the plant engineering point of view, the heat generators were replaced with new autonomous condensation boilers, Wallboxes were supplied for recharging electric vehicles, and a photovoltaic system was installed with a power of about 6 kW, associated with a storage system with a capacity of 12 kWh.
The energy upgrading work also involved the replacement of most of the windows and doors in the flats and the architectural renovation of the balconies.
Following the new European ‘Green Homes’ Directive, individual housing units went from an average energy class D to an average energy class A2, with energy savings in energy bills of around 60 per cent and an increase in the average flat value of around 30 per cent.
