Wegreenit, as General Contractor, handled the design and executive part of the energy requalification of the condominium building located in Via Do Luigi Sturzo, 1 in Liscate.

The dispersing envelope was insulated with a thermal coat on the vertical walls and the roof was insulated with a cool roof system. From the plant engineering point of view, the heat generators were replaced with new autonomous condensation boilers, the supply of Wallbox-type electric recharging systems, and the installation of a photovoltaic system with a power of about 20 kW, associated with a storage system with a capacity of 30 kWh. The energy requalification work also involved the replacement of most of the windows and doors of the flats and the installation of new solar screens.

In addition to the energy aspect, the maintenance of the building was completed with the architectural renovation of the balconies and terraces.

Following the new European ‘Green Homes’ Directive, individual housing units went from an average energy class E to an average Class A1, with energy savings in energy bills of around 60 per cent and an increase in the average flat value of around 30 per cent.
