UNAHOTELS Scandinavia

MILANO

We developed an advanced energy efficiency project for the Hotel Scandinavia in Via Fauché 15, Milan, aimed at reducing consumption and improving the internal comfort of the structure.

After studying the status quo, we proposed a plan that included the replacement of heat generators with high-efficiency heat pumps and the installation of a 25 kWp photovoltaic system to reduce the building’s environmental footprint and energy use from the grid.

The solution we have designed allows for integrated management of energy consumption, with continuous monitoring of heat demand and electricity consumption. The system also makes it possible to optimize the use of hot water and air conditioning, thus reducing dispersion and increasing the building’s overall efficiency.

The intervention also includes the replacement of windows and doors with new low thermal transmittance elements that improve the insulation of the building envelope and ensure optimal thermal comfort all year round.
