For the Hotel Mediterraneo, located at 14 Via Ludovico Muratori in Milan, we designed an efficiency intervention based on an in-depth energy simulation of the building.
Starting with the construction of a detailed digital model that faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the building envelope and installations, we analyzed the distribution of heat loss and identified opportunities for improvement.
We simulated different solutions, evaluating their effectiveness both from an energy and economic point of view. The model was calibrated with the hotel’s actual energy consumption to ensure that the simulations accurately reflected the building’s actual behavior.
The result of this analysis made it possible to develop a precise energy baseline and to design targeted interventions, such as insulation, replacement of windows and doors, and implementation of high-efficiency heating and cooling systems. This approach ensures optimized energy management, reduced heat loss and an overall improvement in the building’s performance.
Some people talk about energy efficiency. We do it. We carry out retrofitting and energy requalification of the existing building stock with the aim of translating the challenge of the energy transition into…
