In the small retail sector, we designed and implemented an energy efficiency intervention at the Yamamay store in Corso Vercelli 12 in Milan. The solution involved the installation of a smart and sustainable system that uses IoT (Internet of Things) technology to reduce energy consumption and CO emissions and monitor the influx of customers.
The planned intervention allows continuous monitoring of electricity use and provides specific reports and benchmark analyses to realize an ongoing process of optimizing the store’s energy performance.
This system also offers in a single platform the ability to constantly monitor indoor air quality (IAQ) and CO2, and to anonymously record the number of people entering or leaving the shop with an accuracy level of 99.5 per cent.
This solution, aimed at impacting various ESG targets in the sector, not only improves the energy performance of the store, but also implements and improves the comfort and healthiness of the space for employees and customers.
A project that fits perfectly into our mission, working every day to realize low impact, liveable and performat buildings.
