At the Industria Farmaceutica Galenica Senese plant, we at Wegreenit have installed a 600 kWp photovoltaic system capable of producing sustainable and efficient energy from a renewable source such as the sun.

The system, consisting of 1.157 photovoltaic panels and 5 inverters, produces 725 MWh annually, allowing the company to significantly reduce its energy withdrawals from the grid and also lower its electricity bill costs, with an estimated saving of €200,000/year and an average monthly self-consumption of 25%.

The intervention, for which we followed the entire process – from the definition of the project to the authorization procedures, from the permits to the supply and installation of all the technological components, right up to the start-up of the plant – avoids the emission into the atmosphere of 232.2 tons of CO₂ per year.
