Renewal of the partnership aimed at the energetic requalification and ecological transition of Italian real estate assets in support of social and environmental sustainability.After the partnership stipulated about a year ago for the transfer of 100 million in tax credits, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Wegreenit, General Contractor in energy efficiency measures, have signed a new agreement for the transfer of 55 million euro in credits related to energy retrofitting interventions in the construction sector.
The confirmed collaboration between Wegreenit and Monte dei Paschi di Siena will allow for the continuation of the process of energy requalification and ecological transition of Italian real estate assets launched in 2020, perfectly in line with the new objectives set by the European Commission through the Renovation Wave strategy, “A wave of renovations for Europe”, which aims to create drivers to accelerate the retrofitting of the building stock and reduce carbon emissions.
