The600 kWp photovoltaic plant built by Wegreenit for the Industria Farmaceutica Galenica Senese has been inaugurated.
Located in Monteroni d’Arbia (Siena), in the heart of Tuscany, the Industria Farmaceutica Galenica Senese is a manufacturing company specialized in the production and marketing of medical products for infusion and injection.
The system, consisting of 1.157 PV panels with a power output of 505 Wp, will enable the company to significantly reduce its energy costs. As a result, electricity bill costs will also decrease, with an estimated saving of €200,000/year and an average monthly self-consumption of 25%.
The emission into the atmosphere of 232.2 tons of CO2 per year will thus be avoided.
Wegreenit carried out the pre-feasibility design of the project. As General Contractor, it also carried out the authorization procedures, permits, supply and installation of materials (panels, switchboards and inverters) and the start-up of the plant.
