Energy efficiency, a path toward value creation and social cohesion for the country
May 11, 2026. Wegreenit took part in Futuro Direzione Nord, the annual event held at Assolombarda headquarters and organized by Fondazione Stelline and Inrete – Relazioni Istituzionali e Comunicazione.
During the panel “Housing: is there still a market for rights?”, the company’s CEO, Fabrizio Candoni, presented the company’s strategic vision: energy retrofitting is not only a tool for savings and efficiency, but also a genuine instrument for urban regeneration and social cohesion.
Improving the efficiency of buildings means enhancing quality of life in homes, strengthening safety, accessibility, and value for communities. This transformation requires a long-term vision, stable regulations, and a financial system capable of concretely supporting the energy transition.
The panel featured several speakers, including Emmanuel Conte from the Municipality of Milan; Alan Rizzi, president of ALER Milano; Vincenzo Barbieri from LUM Libera Unione Mutualistica; Filippo Catena from CDP Cassa Depositi e Prestiti; and Luigi Borré, president of Near spa benefit.
